Vegan Southern Style Sausage Gravy
Ingredients:
1 Pack of Vegan Sausage (I used Field Roast Apple Sage)
1 Tbs Vegan Butter
2 Tbs of Flour
1 Cup of Plant Milk (Ex. Soy, Almond, Cashew, Hemp, Coconut..etc)
2 Tsp of Minced Onion, Oregano, Cumin, Fennel, Basil, Cayenne, Garlic Powder, (Red Pepper flakes optional)
Salt & Pepper to Taste

5-10mins 15-20mins 30mins
Directions:
Oil/ Lightly grease your frying pan and turn it on Medium heat
Crumble your veggie sausage. I use a food processor because I love kitchen appliances haha but thats totally not necessary.
Add the crumbled pieces of sausage to your frying pan. Stir for a minute or so and then add your seasonings.
Add butter and give it a good stir. Sprinkle in the flour and stir it up again. Slowly add in your milk and give it a good stir. Add Salt and Pepper to Taste and start to turn down the heat.
Tip: If you want the gravy super thick, leave the heat on medium a little longer.. if you don't want the gravy as thick, you can add 3/4 cup of plant milk and let it simmer for (3-5) minutes.
Please keep your eye on the gravy, it cooks fast and can burn if you're not paying attention
Serve with biscuits and fresh fruit
