Vegan Fried Fish


Ingredients:

1 Can of Banana Blossoms
2 Cups of Yellow Cornmeal
1 Cup of Water
1 Cup of Flour
2 Vegan Egg/Egg Replacer
2 Tbs Seaweed Flakes
2 Tsp of Dill
2 Tbs of Old Bay
1 Tbs of Smoked Paprika
1 Tbs Onion Powder
1 Tbs of Garlic Powder
Sea Salt and Black Pepper to Taste
Frying Oil




Directions:

Drain the can of Banana Blossoms and add them to a large mixing bowl. Take the marinade seasoning mix (seaweed flakes, dill, old bay, smoked paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, sea salt, and black pepper) and cover the Banana Blossoms. Add water and marinate the blossoms for 1 hour.

Coat both sides of the Banana Blossoms in your egg replacer mix and then dip them into the breading mix.

Heat the frying oil and once the oil is hot add the Banana Blossoms into the frying oil. Flip every 3-4 minutes or until both sides are golden brown
Place on a paper towel to remove the excess oil.
