Vegan Shrimp & Oyster Po' Boy | Spicy Remoulade Sauce


Ingredients:
                  Spicy Remoulade Sauce
1 Cup of Vegan Mayo
1 Tbs of Spicy Mustard
1 Tbs of Horseradish 
1 Tbs of Old Bay
2 Tsp of Garlic Powder
1/2 Cup of Chopped Green Onion
The Juice of Half a Lemon
Sea Salt and Black Pepper To Taste
3-4 "Dashes" of Louisiana Hot Sauce

Directions:
This sauce is super delicious and easy to make! 
Combine all ingredients together in a bowl and store in the fridge until it's time to plate your Po' Boy

Tip: If you'd like to amp up the heat in this sauce, add more Louisiana Hot sauce!



Ingredients:
                 Vegan Shrimp & Oyster Po Boy
1/2 Cup of Flour
1/2 Cup of Yellow Cornmeal
1/2 Cup of Panko Breadcrumbs
1 Tbs of Old Bay
1 Tbs of Garlic Powder
1 Tbs of Onion Powder
Sea Salt & Garlic Powder to Taste
2 "eggs" (Vegan Egg/ Flax Egg)
1 Pkg of Vegan Prawns/Shrimp
3.2oz Oyster Mushrooms
1 Tomato
Romaine Lettuce
French Bread
Grape seed Oil/ Vegetable Oil for Frying

Directions:
Dip Vegan Prawns/Shrimp in seasoned "egg mix". Allow it to sit for 1 minute so it can receive a bit more flavor, then coat with flour/breading mixture. Working in batches, fry Prawns/shrimp, stirring occasionally, until golden brown and just cooked through, about 4 minutes per batch. Transfer to paper towels to drain.

Now let's take it up a notch by adding Panko Breadcrumbs to the existing flour/breading mix. Then repeat the shrimp frying steps with your Oyster Mushrooms. Transfer to paper towels to drain

Toast your French bread. Add a generous amount of Spicy Remoulade sauce to both the top and bottom of the bread. Followed by lettuce, a few slices of tomatoes and as much vegan shrimp and oyster mushrooms that your heart desires!
